Random Thoughts 06/28/07....

A dear friend in my cancer support group has been without his mother almost one month now. He is the same age as Gary with twin sons the same age as Ethan. The main difference between Gary and Jack you ask? Jack is blind. He and his mother had such a close relationship that this loss is far different than most. Today he posted a great reminder to me and I wanted to share it.....

When Tomorrow Starts Without Me
When tomorrow starts without me, and I'm not there to see;

If the sun should rise and find your eyes, all filled with tears for me;

I wish so much you wouldn't cry, the way you did today, while thinking of the many things, we didn't get to say.

I know how much you love me, as much as I love you, and each time that you think of me, I know you'll miss me too;

But when tomorrow starts without me, please try to
understand, that an Angel came and called my name, and took me by the hand, and said my place was ready, in heaven far above, and that I'd have to leave behind, all those I dearly love.

But as I turned to walk away, a tear fell from my eye, for all my life, I'd always thought, I didn't want to die. I had so much to live for, so much yet to do, it seemed almost impossible, that I was leaving you.

I thought of all the yesterdays,the good ones and the
bad, I thought of all the love we shared, and all the fun we had.

If I could relive yesterday, just even for awhile, I'd say goodbye and kiss you and maybe see you smile.

But then I fully realized, that this could never be, for emptiness and memories, would take the place of me.

And when I thought of worldly things, I might miss come tomorrow, I thought of you, and when I did, my heart was filled with sorrow.

But when I walked through heaven's gates, I felt so much at home. When God looked down and smiled at
me, from His great golden throne,

He said, "This is eternity, and all I've promised you" . Today for life on earth is past, but here it starts anew. I
promise no tomorrow, but today will always last, and since each day's the same day,there's no longing for the past.

But you have been so faithful, so trusting and so true. Though there were times you did some things, you knew you shouldn't do. But you have been forgiven and now at last you're free. So won't you take my hand and share my life with me?

So when tomorrow starts without me, don't think we're far apart, for every time you think of me,I'm
right here, in your heart.

Mom & Dad are flying home to Kauai today, Dad's surgery went very well for all that have been praying for him. Thank you very much. There were no complications at all to the actual surgery. He did develop a slight infection while in the hospital and stayed an extra day, and then had some horrible blisters that we think are an allergic reaction to the surgical tape that they used. We have been able to get them cleared up fairly well so far. I was so worried about the home health nurses that were going to be coming for him as they are the same company that come for me.... (nuf said for most of you? )but they were all really nice.

I was able to get a miracle done for work yesterday!!! C&C need all their PO's turned in for their fiscal year end and I have been putting it off. Well they called me at 1230 and told me I had a hour and a half to get them all ready and they were sending somebody to my HOUSE to pick up all the INVOICES!!! that was 52 invoices in under 2 hours.... THAT WAS INSANE!!!! but I did it!!!! and it will get some major bills paid!!! and there are more to process too!!!! - Those were just up tp June of last year.... so I still have quite a few to bill out for this year... I really need help but I don't see it in the near future, being as I haven't even been paid since last November.

This weekends priority is taxes... YUCK! but it has to be done. Then to get caught up on postings. I just am so tired. Here it is in the middle of the night and I can't sleep but I cannot do my work either, but during the day I cannot concentrate. These meds need to get straightened out so that I can function.

Going to try and go back to bed for awhile, kids will be getting up in a few hours.
